No ? than I am glad * she smiled softly and nodded * many just look at me like I grew a couple more heads ~ not that it surprises me much. * she chuckled softly, hands placed diligently on her lap as she watched him crouch close by her. She didn’t know why she felt comfortable speaking with him, as he stated - most weren’t so easily kept around him. She safely assumed it must have been the fact that they were both classified as dead - even though his case scenario differed in great amounts. She blinked in thought, as she had to think just how long she walked with the living - to be honest, it wasn’t long at all. *

Si, though it hasn’t been long. I used to live with my familia before they wandered off themselves in my village. I got lonely and * gestures with her hands before laughing sheepishly * Here I am ~

(( A Pair indeedie bro <3 ))

“Really?  I think having more heads would be useful - you could could see in front of you, and in back.  And you’d have someone to talk to.  Or sing while you played drums.  Theoretically… I guess it could get annoying though, if you liked your quiet.”  He mused aloud.  But maybe if she was indeed human, it would make sense that growing another head would have been disturbing… Or at the very least, difficult.

“Oh…”  He hummed, trying to sound at the very least sympathetic.  It wasn’t that he didn’t care, as much as it was he had heard this story, or ones very similar, or slightly similar many times before, and he was just waiting for the end.  “You mean that they went before you…?”  Sometimes talking to spirits was healthy for them.  Sometimes he was honestly curious.

She raised a brow and smiled some as he went on about how having a few more heads on your shoulder could prove to be interesting - or annoying. She giggled in amusement as the talking ended on his end, wiggling just slightly to get more comfortable on the rock she sat on. If she was in her spirit form she would feel such discomfort, but currently she wasn’t and it was something she needed to live with. * The drums ? than I take it you play them, senor ? * she asked politely *

She could sense that somewhat ‘brought on’ sense of sympathy and simply passed over it. She didn’t mind if what she had said wasn’t interesting, or was said before - she was simply providing a question with an answer. She gave a curt shrug of her shoulders, tilting her head some in thought * Oh no - I was speaking about currently, a few months ago my village had gone to party and seemingly never came back * She furrowed her brows, raising them and snickering * Fiesta la Muerte likes to travel around so it’s hard for them to stay in one place. * she didn’t want to go into detail on her passing mainly because he didn’t ask, and because it wasn’t of much importance. A Simply illness swept over and took her, nothing more. *

“Yes indeed, miss, I do.”  He said with a slow bob of his head.  After a horrible ‘incident’ concerning a certain man and a lute from before the Mushroom War had convinced him to take to playing something.  Anything really.  So he chose drums…  After the fiddle…  Which were two completely different stories.  Two very old stories, from an ancient man.  He’d probably mess them up… Better just answer her questions simply unless asked otherwise.  “You wanna walk or something?”  He asked watching her fidget.

If he had lips, he would be sure they’d be twitching up into a grin.  ‘Fiesta la Muerte.’  That sounded rather pleasant.  Maybe he could talk to the party bear to see if he could pass along the message, and make dying a more festive and less… despairingly sad affair.  But then again, he didn’t really care.  He would eventually come for everyone, and their moods on the matter were of little consequence.  They were all happier eventually.  “Ah…”  So the story didn’t go exactly how he had pictured.  Just as well he supposed.  “So why do you need a human body?  Not really ready to accept that you’re not ‘up there’ anymore?”

* she couldn’t really say that she had any talent for any form of musical or otherwise artistic skill. She was always more of a story teller or cook back in the days, which were distant to the one today. She took to his simple answer with a smile and a nod * Interesting * she had raised both brows at his request to walk, obviously having caught sight of her fidgeting. She gave a sheepish smile * Walk ? only if it isn’t a trouble to you, senor muerte ~ * she slowly slide from the rock, patting down her skirt *

Where Catarina came from - death was a celebration. It was meant to be pleasant - not depressing or crudely distasteful. Then again, many people weren’t like Catarina or her fellow friends, it was nothing however. Death was death, people took it different ways, it was apart of life. She blinked and mulled over the question in silence for a few moments, not sure how to answer as she wasn’t clear on the answer herself. * Other than using it against the sun ? … well senor, it’s questionable. * She blinked once more, gray eyes contemplative and in thought * While I do miss living a life - I also know there is nothing much to do or say otherwise. I passed, my time was up * she shrugged, smiling some * perhaps, just for fun. For the sake of wanting to do something for my enjoyment. * she chuckled, thinking herself absolutely ridiculous sometimes *

* The spirit listened to his words, mentally nodding to herself and blinking in response to his words. She could feel a pang of sadness hit her as she could understand somewhat what he was saying, even though not entirely. She waited until he finished to speak, a small smile on her face as it didn’t seem to waver much * It is a process in which many go through, and at some point, will have to si - which could make it all the more difficult to accept. * she paused for a moment as she was asked about her outer appearance. She nodded in agreement * Si, senor this is true. * she took a seat on a rock poking both index fingers together * You see senor, as a spirit - it would be impossible for me to manifest in daylight the way I am, so, a witch from my village taught me how to make a ” suit ” so that I can walk around among the living - at night it disappears and my espiritu form, sheds from it.

It is … * she rubbed her neck for a moment, feeling almost guilty for having to yammer on about something silly like her human ‘suit’ * a confusing, subject.

(( Nah it don’t bother me none hon <3 I’m still knew to Tumblr RPing so I may take even loooonger |D ))

-The creature which had never been alive, nor had ever died, but simply was, and is, watched the other as she moved.  As she seated herself with grace upon a rock, and touched her soft fingers together.  Listening to the once mortal with rapt attention as she explained herself.  A twitch of a smile gracing his otherwise bare features before returning back to his neutral visage.-  Not that confusing…

-He crouched near her, sitting on the balls of his feet, clutching his rake for support and balance, though he was somewhat certain he didn’t need it.  He’d lived a long, long existence, nothing much, aside from the occasional vampire storming down into his keep demanding their long dead wives back, surprised him anymore.  A spirit that was once alive.  That missed living.  That masqueraded as a dying species. Or so were his unspoken assumptions.-  So you live up there?  In the land of the living?

((Oh what a pair we’ll make~ <3))

* beams happily, eye’s glowing a particularly bright green color * Muchos Gracias Senor Muerte * bows with a smile *

-Tips his hat, and grins slightly- No hay problema senorita. But I’m death, why are you so happy about me following you.

* The girl tilted her head some and laced her fingers with one another, allowing herself to stand on the ground rather than float * Considering I wasn’t alive much to begin with senor, I suppose you could say your … ‘occupation’ doesn’t bother me !

-Death nodded slowly, his eyes narrowing ever so slightly as he processed the words spoken to him.-  Well then I suppose I should be grateful for that.  Loads of people take a lot of time getting use to the fact that they aren’t fleshy anymore.  Let alone get use to …  -He pulls a frown of sorts and clears his throat-  Don’t mean to sound rude, but, you’re dead.  Right?  How come you don’t look it?

((hi, I’m a dummy that is taking forever to respond and junk. ene ))
